Refund Policy
This policy describes how refunds are handled for paid and free tickets purchased through Agora Events.
Cancelled events
If an event is cancelled and a valid payment record exists, organisers should process refunds before final event cancellation. Platform tooling may automate this for eligible payments.
Where a replacement date or comparable ticket is offered, the organiser may provide that option where lawful before issuing a refund.
Material event changes
If an organiser makes a material change (for example date, venue, or core advertised content), affected attendees may be eligible for a refund or transfer subject to organiser terms and applicable law.
Minor timetable adjustments, support acts, or non-essential changes may not qualify for refunds.
Attendee-initiated refunds
Attendee refunds are subject to organiser policy, event timing, payment status, and applicable consumer law. Some tickets may be non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or materially changed.
If a cancellation request is submitted within the organiser's stated notice window, the organiser or platform may approve a refund, transfer, or credit.
No-shows, late arrival, and refused entry
If an attendee does not attend a paid event and does not notify the organiser or platform within the stated notice period, the ticket is generally treated as a no-show and is not refundable.
Late arrival, missed entry slots, or failure to present required ID or comply with venue/event rules may result in refusal of entry without refund where legally permitted.
The platform may review exceptions for verified organiser error, inaccurate listing information, or other circumstances required by law.
Payment errors and duplicate charges
If a payment succeeds but a ticket is not issued due to a technical issue, support should be contacted promptly so the transaction can be verified and resolved.
Verified duplicate charges may be refunded or reversed once confirmed against payment provider records.
Processing time
- Approved refunds are submitted to the payment provider.
- Bank/card settlement timelines vary by issuer.
- Refund status may be visible in attendee ticket details or support communications.
