Attendee Terms

These terms apply to attendees using Agora Events to browse, reserve, and purchase tickets for listed events.

Version 2026-02-24.v1Effective 24 February 2026Updated 24 February 2026

Booking and eligibility

When buying a ticket, you confirm the booking details are accurate and that you are legally able to attend the event.

  • You must provide accurate account, billing, and payment details.
  • You are responsible for reviewing event-specific rules, venue requirements, and age restrictions before purchase.
  • Age-restricted events may require valid ID checks at entry.
  • A completed payment does not override entry conditions published by the organiser or venue.

Ticket use

  • Tickets are issued for the named event and may be invalidated for fraud or misuse.
  • Entry is subject to venue capacity, security checks, and organiser rules.
  • Resale or transfer may be restricted by the organiser or venue.
  • You are responsible for arriving on time and following check-in requirements provided by the organiser.

Refunds and cancellations

Refund outcomes depend on the refund policy, the organiser's stated event terms, payment status, event changes, and applicable consumer law.

If you do not attend a paid event and do not notify the organiser or platform within the stated cancellation or notice window (if any), the ticket will usually be treated as a no-show and may be non-refundable.

If an event is cancelled, materially changed, or you are denied entry because published information was inaccurate, a refund or alternative remedy may be available.

Conduct and safety

  • You must follow venue staff and event staff instructions.
  • Abusive, unsafe, or unlawful behaviour may lead to refusal of entry without refund where legally permitted.
  • Alcohol and age-restriction rules are enforced per event and venue requirements.
  • Failure to meet age, ID, or safety requirements may result in refused entry without refund where legally permitted.

Payments, chargebacks, and disputes

  • If you believe a payment was made in error or without authorisation, contact support promptly before initiating a chargeback where possible.
  • Chargebacks or payment disputes may lead to temporary account restrictions while the payment provider investigates.
  • Refunds approved by the organiser or platform are processed to the original payment method unless required otherwise by law.
